iBurst outages in Gauteng cause user discontent

I wonder if they will ever get over their ostrich syndrome.

All we as clients would like is for WBS to come clean when there is a problem as opposed to flat out denial or just plain ignoring the complaints.

Is there ever going to come a point where we as consumers are taken seriously and not treated like an annoyance?

I complained on thursday (24th Nov) about the Web page showing the network was "Green" and my IP address was 0.0.0.0 ... the helpdesk lass then said that the "Network status" page shows the RF links only, not server failure.

Got a hold of our old friend Shaun Green...Must say he "handled" me quite well.

They are aware of a problem but their technical staff have not come back to them with reasons for the current problems.

Made him aware of the status page not showing anything since the 16th - he would investigate.

I Pushed for a public acknowledgement of the problems...

Sent my mail off to accounts this morning requestng clarification on the procedure to receive a refund ... lets see how that goes ...
