Hi Guys

Need new tyres for my car, but tyre prices is ridiculiusly high. Willing to pay in the region of R600-R1000 per tyre. It must be 225x45x17. What brands would fit in that bill.

Thanks guys
:D

I can get a Falken for R850 and Full Run for R780.
Do you guys have any experience with these above tyres.
Which tyre should i go for. I have heard above both, but don't know if they good or not.

Stop being a cheap skate, get the decent tyres with a good reputation. You cant put a price on you safety.

Dude, everyone is not as fortunate as you are.
Dammit, who in there right mind is going to pay R1500-R2000 per tyre

Falken is a reputable brand. Check around on the web for reviews of the specific range you're looking at. TyreTraders will also give you the options of Dunlop, Yokohama and Goodyear for around the R1k mark each fully fitted.

Wouldn't touch something called Full Run with a 10' barge pole.

True, but tyres and brakes are the two components on a car where you break the bank if necessary.

You'll get no help from me with that attitude.

No, its not just for a car, different tyres have different applications hence different prices.

Those tyres is gonna last for <20k km's if your lucky and still alive and kicking.
Bridgestone and Yokkies will last upto 35k km's. Michelin on the other hand will give you +50k km's.

you make the sum, and see where the price differance plays it part.

btw, you should have known a 17" tyres are expensive when you bought the car. Unless you drive a Tazz or Citi with TSW mags.....

I payed R1000 each for my conti sport contact 3's. Same size.
