Hi

Has anyone here used this and got their new license? I have made the payments sent the notifications, but no response from the department and also have not received my disk license.

They say it is sent by post so I'm not expecting miracles just want to find out if anyone else has tried this and got their license.

I would rather go to a bigger post office (call first & confirm if they do) & do the renewal there. The post office near(ish) me has a seperate queue for license renewals. I have never waited more than 10min in the queue there.

The PO is a much safer idea than relying on payment to work via the net & wondering for a month or longer whether you'll receive the disc. It's printed there & then and you don't need to worry about it for another year. Next time just phone the PO's nearest you & see which ones accommodate licence payments. Doesn't necessarily need to be a big PO.
 
Great, thanks for the replies. Due to my supreme laziness I like doing all my admin from my computer so I try to avoid going to any office be it PO or traffic department. :D

This works great. Got my disk yesterday. Good job City of Cape Town :)
