Maduna's words came minutes before six policemen appeared in the Ficksburg Magistrate's Court, a stone's throw from his office, in connection with the death of Andries Tatane, killed during a protest against the town's crippling water shortages.

Always denying. Why does no one show him the proof. Why can't the fscking ANCYL be held accountable when they utter some brainless drivel, only to say they didn't a week later. When is this nonsense going to stop. fsck sakes.
 
Maybe they'll have to remove all bottled water from his office/house and then he'll sort the issues out chop chop...

No, there shouldn't be a revolt in Ficksburg, people just want water and electricity without any protesting and revolting. People should stop being blood thirsty, this violence destroys communities and set them back for years.

As for the major, he's an embarassment, but he's the creation of ANC. He laughs and doesn't care because he doesn't even come from Ficksburg but Senekal, and he's the result of the stupid ANC policy of intergating municipalities, the same goes for the Municipal Manager. There's no use voting until the municipality is disbanded and a new municipal territory is put in place. And no DA in Ficksburg won't help either, people in Senekal, Clocolan and Marquard will still vote this guys back. The problem is not councillors, they are helpless, but a municipal system that makes majors unaccountable to towns because the municipality is a multi-town municipality.

I feel bad for the people at home, they haven't had water for months, and now electricity has been unavailable for days. But no they shouldn't protest again, nor vote.
 
All this rubbish because of service delivery or should I say lack of it. Well, if the people don't get what they need, they should show their unhappiness with their vote... thats the point of democracy. But watch the ANC win and nothing will change. I leave this with a great quote from Forrest Gump... Stupid is as Stupid does...

Yes, they must take any crap handed to them by giggling and corrupt municipalities and ‘negotiate’. Everyone knows that works marvellously.
