As k@k as all the other awards....
Have you seen the winners of the awards.....they are dodgy to say the least (and I didnt say anything about a United player winning it)Typical Utd fan comeback, just because a Utd player didn't WIN it, now its not a worthy award.

Typical Liverpool fan comeback - defensive for no reason. dbecks has a point, even if a United player had won it, these types of awards are showing themselves to mean nothing.
So you guys are saying an award any award does not deserve merit. Even tho it's not as big as the others, every award deserves some merit. Take the Carling Cup for example, yes it's not as big as the others, but still an achievement to WIN it.

Exactly - how do we place meaning on these awards when the nominations/results are so odd
I remember how prestigous these awards were, but they are slowly becoming "k@k" because of the obvious lack of process and accuracy
You firstI think it's a farce as well, but everyone's opinion differs. I'm sure if you put down your nomination list, people would differ with you and would think you're a bit thick.
Look, I'm not saying I disagree with the choice, obviously more people have voted for him than anyone else. I'm saying the award doesn't mean anything. To be honest, I'd agree with this award more than Bale winning the PFA award, but I'm beginning to wonder what the point of these things are. Even the Ballon d'Or. Sneijder doesn't even make the final three. PFA - best player in the League isn't even shortlisted. Diminishes the awards process a helluva lot.
I think that's what dbecks meant by his comment, and why I said you were defensive for no reason. They'd still mean nothing, no matter who won it - even a United player.
You should work for the PFA...lolLucas

Lucas has been Liverpool's star player for most of the season. Nothing wrong with nominating him.
