Will our Government ever realise what an opportunity is being passed up each day that they drag their feet in introducing competition and liberating the market from it's current contraints?
It is sickening that they are driven by their own personal agenda's that prevent this country from reaching it's full potential in harnassing the power of true telecommunications freedom to become one of the leading players in the global economy.

Yup and our government is still stuck in the stone aged mindset of protecting Telkom and restricting access to telecoms service provisioning...
Our minister is a sleepy, sit on her hands type of gal with a seemingly huge appetite for socialist protection mechanisms. Is our government fearful of informed and educated masses?

Our governments priority list when it comes to telecommunications in South Africa starts off with;
1. Protect Telkom at all costs (Managed Liberalisation)
Everything else comes in a very distant second place, this in spite of the potential benefits that could be realised if the process was speeded up significantly.
