So I managed to find a red Kia Cerato Koup. The guy that I am liasing with claims to work at Kia Menlyn in PTA. 99% Chance is that this is legit, but there is always the chance that I could be robbed

There are a few things I need to do. This is the order that I *think* I need to do them in.
1. Sell my currently financed car and settle the balance.
2. Apply for finance. I was mailed some MFC forms the Kia Sales Executive, but I am going to apply for finance privately. Question about this. Will the banks *know* that my account has been settled and that expense is now null and void (and the money can be used for paying the new car)
3. I need to fax Hein my ID, drivers license, proof of address, payslip. Nothing seems out of the ordinary yet.
4. Once everything is complete I will have the car sent down to me. What about the inspection that one has to do when you take delivery of your vehicle? Normally one has to inspect the vehicle and sign a disclaimer once you are happy with the vehicle's state.
Obviously the banks will help me validate that this deal is legit, since they will want the VIN number and car details.
One can't blindly trust anyone these days, so I just want to make sure that everything is done in a kosher manner. Any advice? Anyone ever bought a car from a remote dealership?
