Time to celebrate.

Let is be known that I am the worlds most impulsive person. I went to Audi Claremont during lunch to have a look at their cars and ended up buying one. Like I told rodga their sales people are epic. They are on a whole new level of helpful. I happened to have the documents that I was going to fax through to Kia on me, so I sommer handed it over to the Audi people after being awed.

They were extremely efficient and helped pass the time by chatting to me while we waited for the finance to be approved. I got myself an 1.8T Audi A4 Attraction Multitronic, I got some Xenon lights too!

Oh well the best laid out plans. :D

Congrats on purchasing the best make of car out there! :)

You sure are going enjoy that interior. Audi interiors = The best out there.

Mind sharing what your installments are and if you took it on residual and deposit? I'm interested in getting one too - trying to work out costs

I'm sorry to hear that, I'm not a supporter of the vehicle companies that make a mint off our tax Rand... BM, Merc, Audi... In fact I'd advocate we tax payers boycott them... Just saying ;)

Interesting article, thing is it appears most of those cars are out of warranty which could mean its the older models. That said, as previously mentioned, sell the car before motorplan runs out, I had a catalytic convertor (Bosch) go at around 3000 km out of motorplan, the quoted cost at the time and this was in 2006 was R23k.
Still love Audis tho, I currently own my 4th one, with the RS4 to be my 5th (when its released).

Pictures please! Very nice, Audi's pretty much my favorite manufacturer.

Just be warned that gearbox costs R100k(some guy on here had one) :D so be very very gentle.

Roflmao look at that balloon! Pay interest on money you'll have to pay cash anyways! no thank you.

I had a 35.5% residual and will make juat short of 100k on the sale of my car after 5 years? I agree about not doing residual on cars with a low resale value, but I have no problem if you're keeping an Audi for 5 or less years.
