The 9900 is expected to be a 4G enabled device, which is great for those in the US! Both devices will run on a 1.25GHz SnapDragon processor and come with increased RAM. Both also has liquid-display touchscreens as rumoured earlier.

To the downside, it also appears that no current BlackBerry phones will be able to run on the new BlackBerry 7 operating system. RIM decided to lock all current phone models on the market to OS6! - Bummer!

I am getting this phone once it does touch down in South Africa... RIM / BlackBerry won't have stock shortage - they have competition its called the iPhone so they doing their utmost most best pushing their phone faster around the world. I give them until end of June to arrive but I might get one in August due to wait :( Many people will wanna get their hands on this phone......
 
Dammit!

Only just got my 9780 and a few day later they come up with this....

RIM was obviously itching to move into touchscreen territory.
