Esquire has started to invest in the local movie industry and allowed these movies to be produced which may not have got the necessary funding, at the same time Esquire has discreetly placed products within the movie that give Esquire an awareness to local consumers.

We are pleased to announce that one of these projects has just been completed , the movie is called “ Ek Lief Jou” starring Kurt Darren , Christina Storm , Andre Frauenstein and a few famous Belgium and Dutch actors, the movie will be shown in South Africa, Belgium and Holland and opening in cinemas on the 3rd June 2011 countrywide , we will be having a Premier Launch on the 31st May 2011 at Monte Casino cinemas and will have free tickets up for grabs on Wednesday 18th May 2011 @ Midrand Xpress Shop , The cast and crew will also be here at our offices from 10am until 12 pm to meet and greet you.

be like me :D i've been buying and selling stuff since i was @ varsity in JHb , my bro still does on a part time basis while he is studying , the guy @esquire who is one of the owners Mohamed will get you sorted out with an account if you need one.

Pity Esquire Cape Town moved to such a small place....otherwise I'm happy with them.

@Esquire: Do you have any information about how much longer Hitachi and Samsung hard drives will be available since both companies have now been taken over by WD and Seagate respectively?

We had a meeting with the Samsung Rep for Hard drives yesterday , according to him it is business as normal for now , as he too not is not sure ,
but we have ordered another 10k for next month as we are almost sold out , stocks should arrive first week of June 2011

When Seagate took over Maxtor couple of years ago, Maxtor was in circulation for two years before it disappeared
On WD I cannot comment as we do not import those drives
 
Hopefully they will still be available then for a while longer but presumably the new 1TB platter F6 range will not go on sale. Will you be offering 2.5" drives again like you did in January or was that a once off promotion?
 
Eish - I tried to register with Esquire once and am still awaiting the reply. Those specials do look yummy though!
