Vodafone launches global mobile TV

Interesting if they can pull this off. I wonder what the pricing shall be

In theory yes if that cellphone has a TV receiver which the Nokia N92 already have.

I could easily be wrong bit its my understanding that the Nokia relies on DVB-H services and not broadcast reception therefore negating the need for a license as it doesnt have a traditional tv tuner.
 
Could Vodacom3g comment on the availability and cost of this offering in the South African market?
 
It will have to be very good TV shows to justify the R2.00 per megabyte charge on GPRS in South Africa. I think that only the pron addicts will be interested in it here as is witnessed by the many saucy wallpapers downloaded presently.

In the uk mobile data rates are much higher, however mobile tv is charged on a daily or monthly basis ie. fixed cost.
