I think I really want one for writing and drawing on the ipad but before I drive through to CT I'd like to know where to get it. Or perhaps I could get one in Somerset West?

I think a friend bought a Griffin stylus from Digicape, not sure if that is like the one you are after, think was R250ish. Works well, didn't work so well on my iPad with an invisibleshield on though.

yes, that's the one I want. I'll try incredible corruption and dion weird at the somerset mall. if anyone knows if I can get one at the waterfront or so since i have to go there anyway...

Got it at the apple store v&a waterfront. It's really cool.

Did you get the Griffin one? How much were they selling it for there? I must try one again, I don't want to get if it won't work too well with my invisibleshield screen protector on, and I want that on so catch 22.

I picked up a exspact stylus (£8) along with e camera connection kit from duty free at heathrow last night. My kids are going to love the stylus. :)

Yes, the Griffin, it goes for R249 (kinda rip-off)

It works great on the ipad, good on the iPhone 4 with steinheil crystal clear. You definitely have to press harder if you use a screen protector.

I've seen a lot of DIY guides online. Might be worthwhile Googling before dishing out a rediculous amount of cash.

Like putting sticky tape on a pen? No, then rather spending too much on a nice looking one ;-)

It's not that I really need it anyway, things like this are bought just to find out how it works. I have to admit I use it fairly often though.

Well you'll certainly get a kick out of buying a magic 8 ball.

Any good - and preferably free - handwriting apps anyone would like to recommend?

Was it from Dixons? And how much was your camera adapter? There are a few attachments that I need (:)) and a colleague is passing though Heathrow next week

I got an app called "Use Your Handwriting" - it's free and decent.
Thanks, I'll give it a try. :)

Yeah, Dixons at terminal 3. IIRC the camera kit was £25.
