Description:
Exciting opportunity available for an incumbent with relevant IT qualification and minimum 2 years working experience to support Networks Manager.
An Administrator is required to assist the Manager: NMG Support Services and Network Management Centre (NMC) team with the following support tasks:
§ Routine maintenance and system administration conducted in accordance with policies and procedures on network management systems.
§ Diagnose and repair all faults identified on the systems.
§ Provide first line support related to faults identified on NMC systems.
§ Implement security on all systems.
§ Implementation of all new systems and system integration related to supported systems.
Requirements:
Qualification and Education
Matric/Grade 12 or SAQA Accredited Equivalent*
A 3 year relevant diploma or SAQA Accredited Equivalent*
A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
Basic Unix knowledge
