My company bought me a YallaApps account!
So now I can get my device unlocked so I can run my own apps on it :D
Waiting for them now - so it will probably only happen next tuesday because they have to remote desktop in and do it.
:D

Cool, I'm eligible for a free account as a university student but haven't taken advantage of it yet. Planning of setting it all up when I move to the States later this year.

Nice are you going to be writing commercial apps? I am keen to get mine unlocked (when i finally get it) but I am probably going to wait until SA is an official market place country. It will be great.
Let us know how the experience is through Yalla.

Pretty neat, all South African devs on Yalla Apps will get a free (http://www.tvdarek.republika.pl) AppHub account when it launches!

I read that article. It sounds awesome. I have to say it sounds almost to good to be true but that is not going to stop me signing up.

And then after that we get free (http://freeware.info.pl/software.html) App Hub accounts, awesome!

But ... but... If you try to register on Yalla Apps you have to agree to the Terms and Conditions which state you have to pay the $99 fee. No mention of this "promotion".
I will register when this matter is resolved.
Any ideas ...

Any ideas antena (http://programytv.republika.pl/antena.html) ...
If you read the comments, it seems like it all works fine. Did they ask you to pay the $99? Maybe they haven't updated the T&Cs

Any ideas ...Registration is free. After you registered, just wait for 24hrs then you will be fully registered and won't need to pay the $99. This is great. I registered now and will actively start to develop for the platform now.

I am not sure what you currently have but that Omnia 7 screen is great. I have one and when i put it next to a work colleague's HTC it is day and night.

HD7 right now - thinking of giving it to a family (http://staczek.com/en/family-law.html) member right now.
Going to the States to continue studies this year and will probably get a new device (when Mango launches) on contract.
