Best value PCIe x16 VGA card?

ok, it is my turn

does anyone know any decent site where they compare all the flavours of Geforce 6XXX? Like with FPS etc.

I am interested mostly in the following models:

GeForce 6600LE, 128MB 128Bit, D-SUB + DVI + TV-OUT, DirectX 9 + OpenGL, Dual RAMDACs, nView Support, TurboForce
GeForce 6600LE, 256MB 128Bit, D-SUB + DVI + TV-OUT, DirectX 9 + OpenGL, Dual RAMDACs, nView Support, TurboForce
GeForce 6600, 128MB 128Bit, D-SUB + DVI + TV-OUT, DirectX 9 + OpenGL, Dual RAMDACs, nView Multi-Monitor, TurboForce
GeForce 6600, 256MB 128Bit, D-SUB + DVI + TV-OUT, DirectX 9 + OpenGL, Dual RAMDACs, nView Multi-Monitor, TurboForce

I want to get the best value ones, I need 2 cards, I am not a big games, but I play games sometimes, so I prefer the best value cards rather than the cheapest ones or the best ones.

I insist to be Geforce and to be dual-head (D-SUB + DVI + convertor DVI->D-SUB), and must have video out. No other requirements.

Value for money this is the best card to buy.

yeah thanks, but that means nothing to me ... long time ago there were this nice reviews on tomshardware with nice FPS comparison and synthetic benchmarks ... nowadays you get nothing, tomshardware has become crap like all other sites, only trying to sell you something, but not providing information whatsoever

ok, so do you know any site where I can see some benchmarks of those cards or if you know in percentages/fps what is the real difference between them, so I can make my mind ... ? thanks

the bottom line is that if the GeForce 6600LE, 128MB renders say 100 FPS on a given maginary game, and the GeForce 6600, 128MB renders 110-120 FPS on the same game, then it is not worth the near R300 difference, but if the later renders 200 FPS at that game (twice faster), then I guess it is a good deal

The 6600 GT will have a big improvment over the LE Both clock speeds almost dubble and the DDR3.

The GT would be the best buy and its not that much more.

I think I will get one 6600LE and one better, maybe 6600 or even maybe the 6600GT, the VIVO one

I hope that they will live happyly together on one gigabyte 945P-DG board and will not produce very different colours

Im not sure if you can run 2 cards together if they are different - I'll have to check this though. (maybe some1 could help me out)

Other thing I noticed is that the LE and standard 6600's do not support SLi but the GT does.

person, I don't need SLi, as long as I can play games ocasionaly on the one card and have total of 4 monitors connected to both cards, I am happy :)
I will much rather have VIVO :) I am wondering, if you have two cards and you have some video streaming from the video in on one of the cards, can you watch the video on a display connected to the other card? That would be interesting :)

well, I hope I can run two different cards on the same board ... I don't see why not, so after reading some benchmarks, I think I will get
