Vodacom today (16 May 2011) released their latest financial results, showing a 28% increase in year-on-year profits

And if they decrease their R389 -> 2.3GB Databundles by even R1 - It will make me considerably happier than all this information about how they're making money, and I'm loosing it ....

Well they are a capitalist corporation after all...what we as consumers should do is boycott all these overpriced products, but as long as everybody buys it, why will they drop their prices?

Well done Vodacom, you manage to take more of my money than last year, thanks in part to your 'high' speed network being able to drain my data at R2/mb faster than before.
At least the shareholders are happy...

For those that can't find the actual profits in the article because they're not stated, they made an operating profit of R13.7bn (improved by 21.9%), from R11.2bn previously. That's billions of profit, just in case you've never felt that you're being ripped off :mad:
