JOB DESCRIPTION:
The primary responsibility of the Essbase Developer will be to develop efficient and supportable financial applications deployed on Essbase, while converting the needs of our financial users into working computer models in a multi-dimensional database environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop business focused technical solutions for our end-users
· Determine requirements with functional teams to improve business processes
· Develop and implement applications based on identified requirements
· Install, configure, and troubleshoot software issues as required
· Support end-user training, documentation, and rollout
REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions utilizing a “customer-friendly” approach
· Ability to independently manage multiple assignments with a strong emphasis on results
· Knowledge of budgeting, consolidation and financial practices
· Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with concentration in Finance, Accounting or Information Systems
· Minimum 3-5 years experience with Hyperion Essbase
