I would like to know what experiences others have had with trying to get their motherboards replaced. Did you get a direct swap or did you have to hand it in a wait for a replacement. Who were you dealing with?

This is the kind of thing I was expecting. After talking to roan at landmark pc though it appears I have to return the board, wait a few days then go pick up a new board. This is a pain in the ass as I live about 45ks away from them. So it means I will unnecessarily have to travel 90ks + time at my own expense!
Pretty poor on landmark or their Suppliers part I think.
What about heatsink paste / pads. I imagine they weren't replaced.
Heatsink paste / pads were not replaced... I handed in 1xmotherboard and received 1xmotherboard back in a new box with everything inside... I now have 8 SATA cables, 2 manuals, 2 driver cds, 2 backplates and 2 socket protectors, 2 gigabyte stickers, 2 empty boxes and 1 anti-static bag all for the price of 1 recalled motherboard.
Thanks RebelTech + thanks Rectron.
Took mine to Esquire on the 7th, was told it needed to be sent to Asus and they will phone me when its back.
Phoned them on the 13th, it's not there and i was told to try on Tuesday.
Phoned several times on tuesday but could not find an answer and was told someone would call me(still waiting).
Went there on wednesday but was told they were'nt doing waranty things that day.
I'll go there again tomorrow, hopfully its there...

eish... Beachless I am speechless. Very unprofessional.
Mine was a straight swap, so no hassles from Landmark. This is the kind of thing I was expecting.
