Nope Messi ended with 51 in all competitions; 31 in La Liga, 12 in UCL, 0 @ the World Cup, 1 for Argentina, 7 in the Cup

Ronaldo did: 56 in all competitions; 40 in La Liga, 1 @ the world cup, 0 for portugal, 6 in UCL, 7 in the Cup and 2 for the European qualifiers
 
That guy is really on fire that Rinaldo. Just a pity that it is such a pain to watch his chronic diving.
 
Well the way Ronaldo has been playing his actually passing Messi from a stats point of View,

Ronaldo does well for both club and country whilst Messi is failing @ Country level

Agree with country level, prevents Messi from being one the best players of all time (and u have to consider the star studded Argentinian side).

But on club level, i think Messi is better, has more influence, and can really destroy teams on his own.

I have to disagree there... Messi has the support base of Xavi, Ineistita and Biscuit plus over 70% possession to work his magic, Ronaldo has Oezil and himself in the RM outfit...
Messi's inability to do well for his country shows that especially considering the team that Arg has, Messi has failed to deliver any ability to destroy teams on his own.
