Besides what is this thing of making deadlines at the end of December.
People are on holiday and things are standing still at that time of year?
Drawing a comparison to the recent fuel outages due to the implementation of the new unleaded fuel also starting the 1st of January.
It is all good and well making things change in a new year, but to physically implement things this time of the year is often not possible.

But, Hooray for number portability, whenever it happens.
 
Too trooo, BTTB - with you there. The silly season is currently the bane of my life also - can't get anything done, dammit! Roll on number portability - wonder who is doing the database?
