Introduction
To ensure that specialised IT audits are conducted which include IT Governance, Disaster Recovery Technology Infrastructure – and Network Security Reviews and to manage the IT internal audit department, ensuring that a risk based IT Internal Audit Coverage plan is followed which complies with the COBIT and other best practice methodologies.
Special Requirements:
Appropriate degree (Bachelor of Accounting Science or Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Science or Information Systems) Ideal: CA/CIA/CISA/post graduate qualification in Accounting and/or Auditing and/or Information Systems Auditing
Minimum Requirements:
5 years audit experience with tertiary qualification of which these years includes supervisory experience in supervising other internal auditors.
IT auditing and IT risk management experience incl. data analytics, particularly in application of IT control frameworks e.g.: Cobit, ITIL
Thorough understanding and Experience in performing IT Governance reviews, Disaster recovery Reviews and Technology Infrastructure reviews and experience in applying this knowledge e.g. Cobit, ITIL, ValIT, King III.
