Couldn't find any threads on this. Is anyone going? So keen to go check out Heston Blumenthal! Its quite pricey though. R350 in addition to the General Admission ticket to the show which costs R85. None of my friends know who he is so they won't be keen to pay R350 to see him. Might just go on my own!

Why don't you just watch hom on BBC L ? What do you expect to see him do at the GFW Show? Freeze something in liquid nitrogen and then rush off to do interviews? Waste of money IMO.
 
Guess it's rather a subjective matter ;)

I'm willing to pay it because it's about the experience. Same as some people would go to concert, even though they stand right at the back and cant see the stage, rather than popping in a CD at home.

Not saying it's cheap. Also I find the R850 "VIP" tickets to be a bit of a raw deal.

I do watch him on BBL. I also watch the stormers on SS1 yet I still go watch them play when I can?
