Fantastic machine except.

Wont be needing to gym anymore. The thing weighs a ton.

Also no backlit keyboard even though I specifically asked for one...

Do they actually even come with backlit keyboards in SA.

Anyone know where I can get the 3D glasses at a reasonable price?

oops, u just missed the 10pm showing...oh well nu metro tomorrow also half price.

Mine came with a backlit keyboard. The best price for 3D Glasses that I have found is R1800.

ok on a serious note, check your backlit isn't switched off.
3D glasses, quite a good selection on bidorbuy, from R800 upwards.
 
Can you use any 3D glasses, I was under the impression they needed to be the Nvidia ones?

R1800 is quite steep for the glasses. Dont think I can justify that on something I will probably very rarely use.

I though that perhaps the backlit is switched off but cant find option to turn it on. Even upgraded the BIOS and still nothing. Any option you know off?

You are right though, It is an awesome machine.

It looks like with the XPS 3D we dont need the transmitter, just the glasses.

Might make it a bit cheaper.

I can turn my Backlit keyboard on and off with "Fn + F6"
