True difference of Intel's 2600k-2600 and 2500K-2500...

Well guys just as it says...
I came accross awhile back,on an online store(can't remember now)that the Intel's sandy bridge wasn't just the multiplier that made a difference but something else, aswell...well I saw...that the "both" the 2600 and 2500 had something called "txt" in one of the feautures listed...well I kind of wanted know bout that and was curious...well it turns out that its more on a security measure...so...question is...what is the real difference....besides the multiplier and that other feature"txt"....would that be all worth it?...trading security for more performance...I was checking around for prices...and I'm not an overclocker...so 2600...would b ok...but since I've seen that feature(or read about)...don't realy understand all of it....what is better then between the K and without the K....
Your two cents anyone....
 
The "K" series as apparently a better graphics processor. The 2500 has a HD2000 GPU whereas the 2500K has a HD3000 GPU

I got a new 2500K yesterday, decided on it over the straight 2500 as the price difference is so tiny. No brainer to spend a tad more cash and get the K.
 
Why would any not get a K series... You WILL overclock your PC in a year or two... it's like a free performance upgrade with almost zero risk.

Intel graphics means nothing if you have a graphics card, unless you get a Z68 board(it allows you to use both but not at the same time), P67 doesn't even make use of it, H67 makes use of it but you can't OC.. even with a K series CPU... so if you go non K series then get an H67 board.

Well i am not one that would overclock...simply because... i want to keep it for a tad bit more longer...i prefer on keeping my hardware till they cant anymore...until its that time again...overclocking would just shorten the lifespan...But...it seems as well that i don't enjoy being limited...so all in all maybe i would go for the 2600K...
