Hey guys,

A friend of mine said he stopped receiving mail to his Berry this morning. Seems as if GMail has migrated the "advanced IMAP" labs feature to a normal GMail feature, and this plays havoc with BIS and GMail.

Now, mine still works, but I haven't refreshed my GMail account (i.e. I don't see the advanced IMAP features by default yet). My one GMail account actually had the Lab enabled, and it still worked (and works) fine.

Has anybody had any problems with GMail this morning?

ditto

I have 4 gmail-hosted addresses on my Torch, and only one of them has been doing this ever since this morning. It's also the only one where I played around with the labs and enabled the Advanced IMAP lab. Deleting and recreating the email account on the phone doesn't help, and disabling/re-enabling IMAP access on the account doesn't help either. It seems I'm screwed until Google decides to fix its stuff, as that's my primary account. Sigh

This is major enough for me that if RIM / Google doens't fix it soon enough, I'm moving to Android when I upgrade in July.

OK, my buddy solved this.

He says you have to enable the "All mail" under labels to show up in the IMAP fodler list. Let me know if it works for you!

Yeah I got the same info from a google help thread - enabling All Mail and Drafts seems to make it work again. I had done that a while ago already, but Google kindly deselected them for me this morning.
