I've been told by a mate that the galaxy tab 10.1 was seen at a mall launch here in Cape Town. But I've heard and seen nothing in PR.

Anyone confirm that it has indeed been launched?

Yep they are out, contract only afaik.
 
This is the fatter model though isn't it? The one that resulted in Samsung running back to the drawing board and calculators when they saw the iPad2?
