Johannesburg - A dog had to be euthanised on Monday after being set alight and left to burn in Daleside, Vereeniging, the SPCA said.

"The dog stood like a sculpture because it was too painful for her to move. No animal deserves this type of barbaric and cruel torturing," said Marlien Pieterse, manager of the Vereeniging SPCA.

The female Shar-Pei Cross was still alive when she was found on Monday tied up with electrical wiring. Her entire body was burnt.

"Her wounds were too severe, so the kindest thing we could do was to humanely euthanise her."

The SPCA and local police were looking for those responsible.

Criminal charges would be laid in terms of the Animals Protection Act.

I hope they find the fekkers responsible for this and burn them so they can get a taste of what its like.. except no humane euthanising for them.. they must suffer for life.

People like this have major problems with inadequacy and rejection; unable to excercise any kind of power or control over anything or anyone else in their lives except the vulnerable like animals, children and sometimes even women. Sick f$cks like this always start out by abusing animals. Best to kill him now and save others pain in the future.
 
Would love to realease some built up tension onto the person who did this. Crowbar, Gordon Freeman style.

The problem is that in many cases the sort that does this is often a barbarian!
 
Man.... this makes me so sad. The suffering that poor dog must have gone through.

This kind of thing should be punishable with a life sentence.

I can't express how sad this made me feel...

All I know is we live in a society with a lot of sick fsckers.
 
The problem is that in South Africa, legally speaking animals are considered property. This makes the law fiarly toothless when dealing with animal abusers.
