Probably around R3000 I would guess. I have used the 2820Vn, the 2910VG and one or two other models. All I can say is Draytek rock!! Excellent kit, reliable and allow fast connections. I used them for 19 sites around the WC for a project where we needed a mix of EDGE, ADSL and a commercial WWAN link with redundancy and these units worked great. They have so many useful features, the only complaint I had was I wanted a third WAN option. Boom, delivered. Nice one Draytek.

I won a Draytek 2820vn in a competion a little while back. I agree it's a very good modem/router, but with my limited IT knowledge, I doubt that I'm getting the most out of it. What else could I configure on this router to best make use of it's advanced capabilities.

Well, firstly make sure you are using 802.11n for the wireless, buy a dongle if you aren't and set up your desktop to stream video to your laptops etc and/or add a media centre for your TV.
That model works with the Hauwei 3G USB modems, so you can set it to switch to 3g should your ADSL line go down as a backup connection. You can also set up multiple PPP accounts for multiple ADSL ISP accounts, then you need to set up routing to choose the best option. So for example you could set up a quality per GB for SSH or such access and your uncapped for normal HTTP and HTTPS.
You can also set up multiple SSIDs for wireless and assign bandwidth and/or ISP accounts for each- make sure the kids don't eat your bandwidth;)
You can set up VPN access to your home network (you'll need to set up a dyndns account for that) and/or to another site
You can configure a VOIP telephone account if it is the 2820Vn version, save some cash on calls. If you have an FNB account you qualify for a FNB Connect 087 number, cheap rates:)
You can use the various security features and the web content filtering to manage what can be accessed on the internet (and do it per network group).

I knew it... And here I am switching between ISP accounts manually everytime. I will look into all of the settings you've mention above, but doubt whether I could get it right without any help. Thanks for the help mate, and keep an eye out for my PM's.
