Paypal Bussiness Acc + FNB

Hi,i have been desperately trying to recieve money from a guy i'm doing work for online,he is from the US.I have absolutely no way of verifying my personal paypal account because i am not earning a salary and therefore can't get a cheque or credit card to verify the account with.The guy setup a bussiness paypal and added my name using that multi-user access feature,he verified the account using his card. Would it be possible to link that to an FNB account?

You could link an FNB Smart Account to Paypal. A Smart account is like a savings account. No credit checks needed, just deposit a small amount into the account.

I have a smart Account but tried on several occasions to verify paypal and all failed. Pisses me off:twisted:
 
Go into a FNB Branch for assistance. I have my Smart account linked and verified to my Paypal account.
 
Or you can just call 0861 PAYPAL they can assist you over the phone
 
You can verify your paypal account with a FNB smart account?

Loads of people complain it does not work. Just wondering.
 
FNB's exclusive Top Up and Withdraw service with PayPal allows FNB customers to top up to and withdraw funds from a PayPal account via a qualifying FNB account (FNB cheque, savings or transmission account). With a PayPal account, you can pay and get paid online without exposing your credit card or bank account number. My Paypal wouldn't link with my Smart account because it was savings. I had to upgrade to a Gold Cheque account to get Paypal to work.
 
Your paypal has to be verified before u can link a savings account to it,or verify if with a fnb cheque or credit card or any other bank, which is the problem. Seeing as the bussiness account is verified (not under my name though) could i link a fnb savings account to this? I have emailed FNB and they told me the same thing, you can link most FNB accounts but thats not the problem, the problem is i cant verify paypal, therefore i can't link any account.
