Got it... addictive playing!

Not the best game play I have ever seen and the graphics is also not ground breaking but it is a trip down memory lane... NOT FOR KIDS though!

Duke gets his rocks off with twins in the first 10 minutes so be warned!

It is dirty and disgusting the way Duke Nukem is meant to be... Some game angles are fun... like being shrunk and there are some easy puzzles to solve. :D One includes ramping over the bum of a massive golden statue of a woman bending over... (and that is a mild one!) ;)

I am not going to give away too much but what I can say is, the bosses are tough and the weapons you have are not overwhelmingly powerful... you need to duck and dive a lot!!!!
 
Also playing it and as you say, not the best gameplay or graphics (although its not terrible) but it sure is fun and good old Duke.
 
I hear the Ragdoll physics is awesome when you throw turds around!
 
I think I might give it a go for a walk down memory lane. Duke Nukem 3d multiplayer got me in love with games back when I was a little one. But I have very low expectations.

PS i have played it, although i did not finish it, thought it was crap and an insult to the original.

Forget the reviews, it's mindless fun, nothing more and nothing less. Was always intended that way AFAIK. It's not quite as good as the original, but it is a good break from the usual Call of Battlefield Honor.

The only peeves I have with it are the long load times and high difficulty. These are console specific issues though. Oh and there could have been a bit less platforming - I'm not really keen on jumping from platform to platform in a FPS. Other than that it's good fun, and they don't pu$$y out when it comes to showing titties (unlike a few other devs I can think of) :P

it is way over the top though. The original wasnt as raunchy as this.

Its a bad thing if its the only way they can sell the game. The original was notable to me for its humour, raunchy and not raunchy, and its map design. I hear the map design in this one is not so hot.

I also think Gearbox didnt do too much work on it - they just wanted it out the door.

It's pretty bad... all of it. It's like someone at Running with Scissors gave 3drealms all the bad jokes that didn't get used in Postal.
