Assistance with Learning Cloud Computing Needed

Hi,

I have been interested in learning about cloud computing but I can't seem to find any good reading material (links or good books) on it. I want to learn about the technology as well as "cloud application design" if something like that exists. I also want to learn about programming "in the cloud", so links pointing to that will be really useful to me (I'm more Java orientated though if that matters).

I figured that this post will be useful to those not in the know like me :P

Well what is your definition of cloud application design? Its just a headless server!

Also get yourself a free Amazon EC2 & S3 instance (free for a year) so you can get some hands on experience. Also play around with dropbox, not a cloud but a virtual instance also gives you a good idea of what to expect.
