If im not mistaken ita gona be iphone 4s with OS 5Such as? I think right now the iPhone 4 is still the best phone in the world. With iOS 5 it will become even better. Of course we will see an iPhone 5 in September, with an A5 chip and possibly an 8mp camera.
samsung galaxy s2 is a 500 million times better...

Hardware yeah, not software. You all high? There are dual-core smartphones with better specs available.
Little tip: don't switch off wifi, it hardly uses power when idle, and is the most power efficient data transfer method. Sure the battery life sucks compared to a Nokia, but compared to an Android or older iPhone - it's amazing. The best. Really, you need to use an iPhone 3G or an Android phone to see what I'm talking about.I got my 1st iPhone end April...
3G is off
Wifi is off
Blutoof is off
My screen timeout is 1 min but I always turn it off before then to save that little bit extra.
Yeah it's an annoyance. Personally I also hated iTunes a lot, now I dig it. Anyway - soon we shall have wifi sync and iCloud with iOS 5 - no need for any of thatWhy can't I drag and drop a file onto my phone? Oh... I need a 3rd party app
Why can't I read PDFs? oh... I need a 3rd party app
Why can't I select custom ringtones? oh... I need a 3rd party app
Why can't I just move my photos and songs around? SORRY, EVERYONE IS A THIEF SO WE DON'T TRUST YOU TO BE HONEST AND STUFF... UNLESS YOU JAILBREAK YOUR PHONE THEN EVERYTHING WILL WORK BETTER...

having been a firm Nokia supporter since my first 2110i back in '97 or so.
it was plain to see that Nokia has slipped with its OS as well as any sort of app capability... IMO the best Nokia I owned was the N95 8GB (the black one) it did everything the iPhone 3 did (minus the touch screen) way before the iPhone 3...
I upgraded to the N97... and to be completely honest... was never completely happy with it. The only things that it had going for it was the camera (was a viable substitute for a digital camera... during the day), the navigation and the battery life.
It also proved to be practically indestructible... I'm accident prone as well as the unluckiest guy on earth... and the phone took a ton of abuse and kept on going.
when it was time to upgrade... I couldn't really see myself going with the N8... I tried a friend's iPhone to see if i liked it and thought it was ok.
I messed around with a BB Bold... but having had a touch screen phone for 2 years already I felt like I was a retard stabbing at the tiny screen with no effect...
My brother in law got the torch... but it felt quite flimsy and it would survive less than a day with me.
Android phones... well... TBH, I hadn't had a chance to play with one... and I wasn't going to enter into a 2 year contract without me or someone in my immediate group of peers that could vouch for them.
The deciding factor was ultimately the contract itself with the upgrade... it was a no-brainer really.
They practically throw the Nokia at you for free... but I made up my mind to not get it.
And the iPhone contract option was priced right... it really was a toss up between the BB Bold and the iPhone.
The BB "Free internet with conditions" was very attractive... but if you think about it... you get about 200MBs for the same money... more than enough for my needs out and about. and with wifi, all my data intensive stuff could wait till i got home.
That was my thought process with selecting the iPhone 4.
So far... I'm MOSTLY happy.
The only MAJOR issue is the battery life. Here's the part where the fan boois rise up and harp on about yadda yadda yadda. but the truth is... if you use your phone a lot... your battery will run down before 3pm if it was on a full charge when you woke up. I use my phone a lot. more than 20 calls, emails... almost anything that requires the screen to be on... I started out with the battery percentage indicator on but I eventually disabled it because it would cause me to get anxious literally watching the percentage drop.

Besides that... the transition from Nokia to iPhone took some time and getting used to... but I'm mostly happy. It's a little counter intuitive in some respects... but you just have to learn the little tricks and thingies.
THE ONE THING THAT I DESPISE ABOUT THE IPHONE is F*#KING iTUNES!
I'm happy with senor Jobs trying to defeat piracy and all that... but as soon as you become slightly more adept with a computer... iTunes just feels like you've taken several steps backward in functionality!

And what's up with the Apple hive mind mentality? why does everything WANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE?
THAT FREAKS ME OUT!
So besides the Apple hive mind in iTunes... and the less than agreeable battery life...
I'm pleased with mt iPhone.
Another thing - they will probably cost more than the iPhone 4. That Vodacom R250 pm deal is quite good. So it the MTN offer.Yes. Much better phones coming out in the next few weeks.
