Description:


Permanent position in the Information Technology sector in the Rustenburg area, North West. Salary package will be determined based on qualifications and relevant experience. A shift allowance will also be payable and this is excluded in the annual cost to company package aforementioned.

THE ROLE

We are offering a challenging opportunity for a dynamic person to join the Service Management Team as Service Request Analyst.



Please Note: Shift work on a 24 / 7 basis will be required.

The successful applicant will be responsible to develop the processes and manage the delivery of Work Orders and Service Requests from onset through to delivery, which, inter alia means:



• Maintain customer focus throughout the resolution of calls, ensuring that the incident and request is resolved within the shortest possible time

• Monitor the status of incidents and requests and follow-up with users until final resolution

• Production of daily reports for all incoming incidents and responding to the support requests within the SLA

• Develop a catalogue of services and continuous management thereof

• Clarify work order/service requirements

• Proactive and controlled request fulfilment

• Analysis of services and product consumption

• Integrated service request management

• Identify technical options

• Co-ordinate the Line of Service input to preferred technical option (process, manpower & cost implications)

• Consolidate costing

• Test acceptability of Work Order Requests

• Maintain a detailed progress record on various initiatives

• Report regularly on progress (activities and costs).



THE REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 5 years IT technical background, ideally coupled with a relevant tertiary-level qualification

• ITIL Certification, minimum ITIL V3 foundation certification

• Project management experience would be an advantage

• Well developed and proven managerial, leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills

• Good verbal and written capabilities

• Excellent problem solving and planning skills

• Integrity and high customer focus

• Self organised and flexible

• Confident, outgoing personality who can develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels of the organisation

• Sense of urgency
