i have a 384 uncapped adsl line with Mweb and i have a capped account with Afrihost. i have tried both and i get the same results! i have reinstalled steam and my games, still same problem.
As of 7 june i started getting high pings, they were intermittent at first, as i started a server it would spike then 2 min into the game it would drop, then they got longer and longer, then i thought they were gone they became random, now they are constant. i have no running downloads nothing, like i said i was fine till the 7 june then it just hit me ( 700-800 ms ping) every server i connect to gives me the same results.
Mweb claim i am the only person that they know of that has this problem... if i run call of duty world at war, my pings are fine, so i am sure it has something to do with the server. is there any one who has the same problem?
