How to capture other IPs on wireshark ?

does anyone know how to do this ? been flippin trying for 3 hours already not even youtube helps

If they are not the IP's of your machine, or the traffic that you are sending to those machines, it is pretty difficult.

You basically need to be on a hub (rather than a switch), or else arpspoof (google it) to get the traffic to go via your machine.

The easiest way to do this in windows is with arpspoof is Cain and able . You scan the network for hosts and use arp poisoning between the Target host and the router. Pretty easy to capture cookies with wireshark
And use his session on say Facebook :)

Question is why are you trying to capture packets from the network? For troubleshooting or something malicious?
 
Unless you know your stuff, rather use Colasoft. Its a "free" download and will pretty much give you everything you need in a graphical interface that is so much easier to understand
