A tea made with fresh ginger, lemon juice and honey, preferably just before bedtime. Fresh oranges or juice for the added Vitamin C

take pills and you will be better 6 days later, don't take pills and it will take half a dozen.
 
ACC + your preferred aspirin generic (I go with med-lemon) + caffeine. ACC you can go over the dosage listed, wouldn't recommend it for the aspirin though.
Vit C has no effect on a cold. Zero.
