Photoshop CCS5 - best local price?

Hi Guys

I hope you can help - I need to purchase Photoshop CS5 (No, torrents are NOT an option :p). I even tied purchasing it off the web via my Paypal account from Adobe US - but they don't want to sell it to me, as my CC is registered in SA. And they have the best price, being $699.00. In the "International" shop, it goes for $849.00. What the heck?!?!?!? Where's the logic in that? All I need to buy is a serial number, as I have the demo running fine already!! :mad: The pricing in the UK shop is: BP657.60, so might be cheaper than the International shop ( just to do the math quickly), and I will check whether they will allow me to buy from there or not ..

If I could - I would have purchased on-line at the US shop, but I was thinking let me see what the pricing is locally - maybe by some miracle there will be sane local pricing.

Anyway, long story short - does anybody know of a place offering better local pricing for legal, legitimate copies of Mac Photoshop Cs5?

Thanks for the pointers Unihost - those prices are steep though:

I bit the bullet and bought CS5.1 (the latest available in the Adobe shop - you can't seem to buy 5.5 - maybe an upcoming patch I would have to assume) on-line at the International store, seems the quickest and cheapest available for us South Africans :-(. Came to just more than R5700.00 - the cheapest at retail (online) in South Africa is probably SA Camera at R6489.00. ECMAC is definitely over-priced.

Download though, so no box - if you NEED a box, then buy at local retailers. I find the boxes just take up space - All I needed was the serial to activate the Trial. And I have a receipt and it shows in my Adobe ID account, so that is all I need.

Look at Learningcurve.co.za, if you're a student you get discounts...
