Apple and W3C to enter into patent dispute over Widget

The World Wide Web consortium has called for “Prior Art” on widget related patents that Apple refuses to submit to a license-free standard.

Bad article (or perhaps I am a bad reader). I cannot figure out from the article, whether the W3C already has examples of prior art, or whether they are looking for examples of prior art... (Probably the latter)
