ASUS Eee Pad Transformer MyBroadband review

Asus are really setting the bar for the micro computing sector. Very innovative solution.

Is it a 3G one? I want to get one of those - unless there's a similar spec android tablet with a 3D screen coming soon :D

it seems a bit to expensive, as a fully functional laptop running Windows can be cheaper. On top of that, although not at all a bad product, it doesn't have the exclusive feel of an ipad

Exclusive feel? Isn't exclusive something that very people have, ipad has been bought by million of people i would hardly call it exclusive.

I had a play with one yesterday. It was competatively priced at $1065 Kiwi (including docking station). Very nice device.

What I like about Android is that it appears much more readily connected to my Windows network. It's really easy to transfer files wirelessly with my Android phone and my other PC's.

I even succeeded in Streaming Video from my desktop to my phone using VLC player, and I suspect that solution would work with the tablet as well.

Where can I get one on contract preferably MTN?
If not available on contract who has the best prices?

I should be getting my Transformer tomorrow. The dock is a bit pricey though IMHO.

So... anyone know where to get decent accessories for the Transformer? Not necessarily oem stuff - I'm just looking for a decent, well built case. One of those that have a cover over the screen and can double as a stand for the device.

Um, so where's the transformer prime review?

Not in SA yet... which is a good thing, cause the TF201 is crap* and I would rather wait for the TF700.

*Design flaws that block WiFi and GPS signals, limiting the device's range.
