How do I synch my work related files to iPad (not photos, vids and stuff)?

How do I synch my work related files (word, powerpoint, excel, pdf, etc) to iPad? Or is it even possible? Its easy to sync photos, etc - but how do I sync say select folders in "My Documents"????
 
I use Goodreader and do it via wifi - USB is an option too.
 
what about Dropbox, I started using that on my ipod I assume it would work the same?

So as I understand it - I need an App (like goodreader, etc) installed first. Then I can sync my doc, ppt files using iTunes?
 
For those doing plenty of PowerPoint presentations Keynote works really well. I import my PowerPoint presentations into GoodReader via wi-fi and from there open it in Keynote. Virtually all formating etc retained, and then improvements can be made in Keynote. Fantastic.

Yip Dropbox works great. Docs and pics went fast and music and video went slow.

yes i bit the bullet and bought Keynote, Pages and Numbers - really powerful office apps! I sync my docs from my laptop using iTunes (filesharing)
