Hi,

Any dealers out there have the GTX590 in stock? I've tired Rectron, Pinnalce, Mustek, Axiz, Landmark to mention a few!

Any assist would be great. Want to pick it up and install this weekend.

tried no luck. TVR were a bit clueless and told me that the GTX 590 has not arrived in SA anywhere yet.....

Judging by the price it sure looks like it! I've been waiting agesfor the price to drop. I think the card was release in March already.
 
reviews seem pretty conflicting. Some sites say the 590 is best, others say its the 6990 . Dont know how true it is, but apparently the 590 runs cooler and quieter.

Dude in my opinion your best bet is to wait, if you are going to drop 7k on a gpu wait for q4 or early q1 2012. 7990 will out and it looks like a monster. I am thinking it will arrive either december or jan to respond to the nvidia's 590 release. Not that far away.
 
Aftet much debate, i've settled for the GTX580. So far i am pretty inpressed with its preformance. Fable III is looking much smoother already.
Picked the card up as Esquire is running a special at the moment. R3599 ex vat. Best price i could find.

Sheesh, buying the top end card is never really a good idea unless you like raping your bank account. :-/
But yeah, maybe waiting for the new cards to be released and the buying a 590? I'm not sure why anyone would want to spend so much on a card just for gaming. You really don't need all that power unless of course you're pulling 3 HD screens or something.
