"Virus?" ??
That's harking back to the villagers thinking "Witch!" when they see a kind old lady with a cat and a broom in the street.
Yes, the virii will come. But they're not here yet. The ones you *can* catch on a phone are the ones that you deserve to (installing trojans, for instance, even after your phone repeatedly asked you if you really, really wanted to install this unknown piece of software)
So, Joey, you're going to have to be a lot more specific. When is the phone saying this? How is it saying this? What model is it? Have you done anything new to it recently (like installing or accepting something new from your mates) ?

I believe it's the l33t plural for "viruses".
Er, that would then be "viruseses" would it not?
:D

:DNot really, since viri isn't a real word either. The word virus comes from latin, so somewhere along the way somebody decided that viri probably means "viruses" when in fact it means "men". Go figure. The l33t crowd decided to add an extra i, probably to try and be special... as in the case with words like "warez" and "serialz".

It's the same with syllabus and hippopotamus. Most people believe the plural is syllabi and Hippopotami when in fact it's syllabusses and hippopotamusses
The plural for virus is not viri or virii, it's viruses
