Why is it so difficult for IT departments to acknowledge a number of "soon to expire notifications"?

Pathetic if you ask me considering they are such a massive bank and have crap loads of money to invest in staff, technology, etc

It worked just fine this morning when I logged on and did my business.

I still believe FNB is the better of the 4 major banks. Price for services, Internet Banking, InContact the works. Rand for rand I pay less than what I did at ABSA, Less than what my brother paid it ABSA, my friends pays at Nedbank lets not even mention Standard Bank.

My personal experience has been the past 3 years of 1% downtime (well for me anyway) and when I had a problem with the ATM and had to use NEDBANK they charged me R25.00, I complained and the charges were reversed cause THERE ATM was offline.

So First National Bank. You have MY VOTE (well if there was something to VOTE for) :p

I bank with them and agree that they are the best. Just really pathetic that their IT department can overlook something so important. I think it came right just after 8:30, people must have called in and complained

At least they got it done pretty quickly this time. A few years back, it took them about a day to fix.

I agree that FNB is one of the better banks to be with. They are definitely on top on the Technology and innovation game.

hmm, this might not have been an issue with fnb at all. Their security certificate only expires on the 21st of next month. Is there anything else that could have caused the "This Connection is Untrusted" page from displaying when accessing www.fnb.co.za this morning?

Thanks
