Firstly I would like to thank Derrick for making it as clear as day in another thread he closed:

If you'd like to get on the (already quite sizable) waiting list, you can email [email protected].
That's the official word from NAG, no ticket reselling will take place on Mybroadband.

I would discourage anyone from offering more than R300 per ticket as this promotes ticket scalping, which is illegal.

Thread locked.

A very big thank you :)

Yup the only way to stop this nonsense is for people to stop buying expensive inflated tickets. Sure nobody wants to miss rage but the more people pay large amounts for the ticket the worse it will become.

Suck it up and let's make sure people stop making money on this.

Supported.

Whether offer was innocent or not is not the issue; there is a process to resell these tickets. Use it.

Thanks for starting the thread Pitbull. :)

I've made this thread a Sticky where it will stay till after rAge.

If there are further questions regarding tickets and rAge 2011, either post them in this thread or PM me and we can deal with them.

Also, if any member attempts to resell tickets at prices higher than R300 on the forums through threads or PM, please report the post and PM me if possible.

Yeah thanks Derrick and PB.

Just had some guy whose mom is supposedly taking them away trying to flog them @ R450... :) :) :)

What amazes me is that all these stories come up why guys suddenly cant go anymore, and they are selling their tickest, yet they want to sell them for more than the purchase price. Such BS

IMO everyone entitled to do what they want with their tickets. You don't want it than don't buy it.

I'm sure drug dealers use the same mentality of "Simple economics, Supply and Demand." Point is drugs are illegal and so is ticket scalping.

Your argument is a bit foolish, you comparing ticket selling to something illegal that actually harms people. Last time I checked I cant get addicted to buying a ticket for twice its price.

Sure man however you justify your actions...

didn't say i did it, just sating that the guy who's selling the tickets had to buy them like ervyone else, unless I'm mistaken.

Just don't compare scalping to soemthing morally and socially unacceptable like eg drugs.

I emailed cheryl for my tickets this year, and NAG emailed me back this week, and I picked up the tickets today! :D Exciting much, good work all, and thanks to the OP in the other thread for posting cheryl's email addy!

Somehow I don't think that Rage has the same pull as FIFA. So unless someone can provide a link to the regulations governing the resale of the tickets I'd respectfully submit that they are talking through their hat.

My mate has a ticket for sale. He purchased the ticket and cant make it. If anyone is looking for a ticket please PM me.

First preference to Durban.
