For Telkom to reach a target of 680 000 broadband connections by 2008 ADSL prices will have to fall drastically in order to capture this portion of the South African market.
Whilst price reductions may be on the cards it seems that the telecoms giant is waiting to accumulate the capital before reducing prices, a luxury that only a legally protected monopoly has.
shame, poor telkom!
exactly how much do they need in order to reduce prices... R18 /19 /20 /108 billion? i'm sure government can give it to them, why don't they just ask?
