Telkom CEO mum on retrenchments as talks begin

How a company making R7 billion in profit every year can justify retrenchments is beyond me.

Telkom sure is flying that Proudly SAflag high! Maybe they should read over the Proudly SA mission statement again:

Mission Statement: Proudly South African is an exciting campaign to promote South African companies, products and services which are helping to create jobs and economic growth in our country.

OR Pay a million rands to waiver all the conditions that the PSA set out.
 
I hope that this time the managers will be retrenched and not the techies. Fault resolution nosedived after the previous bout of retrenchments.
