Good day, I'm sure this isn't in the right category so if it can please be moved to where it should be it would be appreciated.
So, here's the story:
About a year ago Telkom informed us that cable theft in our area was at an all time high and that our landlines would be replaced with wireless technology to prevent that. A few days later workers from Telkom came and gave us a Huawei ETS6630 cordless phone and we've been using it ever since. Up until now I've used iBurst to gain access to the internet, but I am thinking of cancelling the service due to there not being much of it. Speeds are slow, disconnects are a constant pain, some days it doesn't even connect at all.
I phoned Telkom but to no avail, our line obviously doesn't support ADSL and they aren't going to lay cables to my house either so does anyone have an alternative? I need internet access for my studies and I was hoping for some decent suggestions.
