"Cape Town - A new round of power failures could soon hit the Western Cape when comprehensive repair work starts at the struggling Koeberg nuclear power station.
One generator is currently shut down and a second will have to be turned off for maintenance work at the same time.
Die Burger has learnt that Koeberg's management is meeting on Monday to discuss the repair work necessary to the faulty Unit 1 generator, which was responsible for the series of power failures in November last year.
Eskom is expected to make an announcement this week with regard to the problem. "
