Major retailer require Informix developers at their DC in Brackenfell, Cape Town with 2-3 years experience in the following: 4GL, Dynasty, SQL, C+, Genero and trouble shooting skills. Proficiency in UNIX essential. Retail/ logistics background essential. IT programming degree/diploma desirable. Contract period 6-12 months. Salary R150 – R350 per hour according to experience. Creative thinking a definite plus. Duties will include, but not limited to: evaluation of problems, executing assignments and structuring tasks. The core function is to develop and maintain Informix 4GL and Genero applications. Client requests fully operational applicants as time is of essence and no time or resources is available to train inexperienced applicants.
