14:30 - Just got back from lunch, looking out the office windows its very very slow, so if going to Joburg from PTA use another route. Backed up from New Road till over the hill to the Shell ultracities, cant see any futher but I assume it might reach back the Old JHB road soon.

15:00 - Started flowing a bit now, still congested.

i am using the N14....so hopefully i wont get stuck on my way back :-)
 
That part of the n1 is always slow. There is no more thing like rush hour. Every hour is rush hour on that road

Oh, sorry, I see you're from Cape Town. Yep, probably at least one graphic design company/ad agency/organic granola peace bar factory every 800m. :D

A bit late but I got this off of FB 'A man was airlifted from the scene of the accident on the N1 at the New Road exit in Midrand' (post is approx. 30mins old).


Edit: MVA occurred +-2hrs ago.
 
I use to stay 1k from where i worked...and i stay in joburg...:-)

now its 40k :cry:
